UNM North Golf Course Rules and Regulations
- All players should conduct themselves in a golf etiquette manner, demonstrating courtesy and sportsmanship at all times. This is the spirit of the game of golf.
- The clubhouse and the surrounding areas is a smoke-free environment.
- Golfers may be asked to leave the golf course for threatening or abusive behavior, damaging the golf course, or behavior that may cause injury to themselves or others.
- Effective since 2013, we recommend that all players call the Golf Shop to reserve tee times. Tee times may be made up to 5 days in advance by calling 505-277-4146.
- Please notify the Golf Shop of any cancellations within 24 hours of your tee time.
- All golfers must check-in and pay in the Golf Shop before play.
- Groups of 5 are rarely permitted, Restrictions may apply.
- Each golfer must play with their own set of golf clubs and golf bag. Rental sets in both RH and LH are available.
- Rain checks are issued if the golf course conditions become non playable or safe due to adverse weather. No Rainchecks for Late Rate or specials and Rainchecks are for Green Fees only.
- In case of Lightning, each golfer is responsible for monitoring potential hazardous weather. Golfers are encouraged to seek shelter at the first sign of threatening conditions. Please remember LIGHTNING KILLS!
- Dress code: Golf attire preferred. (Men no tank tops or cut off shirts)
Shoes: No Shoes that can harm or damage the green. (Heels, Boots etc.)
- Our pace of play for the 9 holes is 2 hours. If your group cannot keep pace, please allow faster groups to play thru or you may be instructed to skip ahead.
- Golfer must produce a valid driver’s license to rent a golf cart.
- No more than two (2) adult players in each golf cart.
- Golf cars must be kept 30 feet away from greens, tees, bunkers and must be used in a way that does not damage the course or the cart itself. Pull carts must be kept off the tees and greens.
- No alcoholic beverages. UNM is a dry campus.
